The .arg file is for the MCC216?

Are you trying to set up an SD card? There is a nice description of how to lay out the directories in the manual.

Too late for me to upload an image now. Sorry! Will be able to tomorrow evening.

Ok, format a sd card and extract as is there the "rar" file below.
As is now I have select/save on "video settings menu" the PAL VGA video output.

You can use as line audio output the lower 3.5 mm hole of black stacked connector.

Plug a wired or wireless USB keyboard.

F5 Help
F6 Start
F7 Select
F8 Option
F9 Soft Reset
F10 Hard Reset

With F11 you will go to the fast ATR/XEX loader menu. From there after you choose your preferred file, you must hold down first the F8 and simultaneously press the Enter key, while you still keep pressed down the F8 for two seconds after you release the Enter key.
Is exact the same as in original Atari computer with the "Option" and "Reset" keys. Option is to disable the Basic as to load the game normally. In other case it crash.

With F12 you will go to the main menu. Except the settings there, you will see a SIO loader with 4 floppy drives, and a cartridge loader menu. To go inside the cartridges area, go down to "Cart" tag with cursor keys, and press Right cursor. From there choose your preferred cartridge or cartridge collection and press Enter.

Remember! When you want to choose/load another cartridge or floppy or to return to basic, you must release first the previous cartridge or floppy from cartridge/floppy slot!

So for example to release a cartridge as to return to Basic, press F12 to go to the main menu, go down to "Cart" tag, and press the Left cursor key. After choose "Exit" and press F10.

Or to release a cartridge as to load another one, press F12 to go to the main menu, go down to "Cart" tag, and press first the Left and after the Right cursor keys.

Remember also till you be familiar to do the basic things, do not change any other setting on the main menu (F12).

Yeah sorry it needs to be 'structure 1'. The mcc (multiple classic computer) board has its own setup.

For reference:An .arg file is basically an encoded .rbf file, with some custom flags the mcc team added. Anyway that is another board, not needed here.

For the eclaire xl we either flash a .sof or .jic using jtag. The .sof is temporary until the board reboots. The .jic writes it to the serial flash chip.

Thanks for the instructions Panos, I'd better put them on the wiki.

Great your board arrived and is up and running. Thanks for the bug reports, please keep adding them. Please don't assign to me though, I do that when I pick them up to work on:-)

Ideally I'm hoping to end up getting to more detailed bug reports that I can fix on the hardware since tracking down from a game takes a lot of dev time before the hardware issue can be investigated. Crossing my fingers some of the people with prototype boards will be able to do that kind of digging. e.g. this register reads the wrong value or this takes too many cycles etc.
