It might be worth starting from a simple setup. i.e. test a drive by itself as D1 without the internal sdrive. Before heading towards the full on 'n' external drives in combination with sdrive. foft

One thought, the default OS is high speed patched and perhaps that conflicts with your drives. You could try using the standard one too. foft

Just been playing for 20 mins with aspeqt, my real 1050 and the internal drive.
Afraid I can't reproduce this. I suspect a bad SIO cable perhaps?
That said, what kind of drives are you using? I wonder if they are using different s... foft

If you take the disk out of sdrive 1 does it then work? foft
